For over 20 years, Band of Coders has been at the forefront of software and app development, transforming innovative ideas into reality through bespoke software solutions. Founded in Atlanta, our company has grown to serve a diverse range of clients globally, from startups to multinational corporations.

In line with our commitment to offering comprehensive digital solutions, Band of Coders recently acquired Atlanta-based Toolbox No. 9, a company specializing in User Experience & User Interface Design (UX/UI) for website and software applications. This strategic acquisition allows us to combine our engineering prowess with Toolbox’s design expertise, creating unparalleled opportunities for current and future clients.

Bobby John - CEO

Bobby John is a visionary executive, a seasoned technology expert, and a successful entrepreneur driven by the desire to craft outstanding products and businesses. In 2001, Bobby founded Band of Coders, a custom software engineering company.What began as a personal mission quickly evolved into a movement. Bobby's success wasn't just about creating a prosperous business for himself; it was about empowering other engineers to do the same. He envisioned a world where every software engineer could paint their own picture of success, equipped with the tools and support they needed to build their future.

Today, our company stands as a testament to Bobby's vision. We are committed to providing engineers with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to turn their clients' ideas into successful realities. This fundamental principle has allowed Band of Coders to cultivate a thriving environment where both clients and developers can prosper.

Romke de Haan - President

Romke de Haan is a multi-disciplinary design, business, and technology practitioner, thinker with a drive to live a life of service. His mission is to help create a more equitable world for all life, especially communities that have become highly disenfranchised. He’s led multiple initiatives from his work in Government, NGOs, and enterprises transforming their work and practices to be more socially impactful and streamlined.

Romke de Haan has worked as a strategist since 1997. Over a 25 year career, Romke has helped organizations across the globe on transforming individuals and places to improve quality of life and economic growth. Romke has worked alongside organizations like the Department of Defense and the Intelligence community in delivering digital strategies in the CVE (Countering Violent Extremism) space, helping those organizations deliver mission critical impact. As a former federal employee, Romke worked with agencies like the TSA, EPA, and GSA on modernizing and solving organization issues through digital strategies.
